Hi, I am Majka.
A photographer living and working in Berlin.
I am intersex (and happy with it), born in the 70s on a sunny winter day in a long gone Germany. I’m a bit of a coffee addict, love good old post punk and new wave music and there are many moments when I have more photos than words.
I started taking photos in 1986, but it wasn’t until 2004 that I made it my profession, first as a photo assistant for various BFF photographers for a few years. With architecture, interiors and people, I then ventured into self-employment.
It was only a few years ago that I started reportage photography and photojournalism and have stuck with it. Because I enjoy not being able to plan everything and simply capture moments as they come to me. And I enjoy working with people in this way much more.
